This week I added 8 brand new videos for your enjoyment. Add these to the 8 videos that are currently in competition at the Pop webcam quarter finals, the 4 in Kids and the 4 in Original, and suddenly there's 24 videos to watch. With each video being about 4 minutes long, there's over an hour and a half of non-stop entertainment at Gidol!

I do understand though that some of you should be working rather than enjoying yourselves and simply don't have the time to watch each and every video on the site. So this week I introduced a new section to make your Gidolising that much easier. It's called Ben's Pick and it's named after yours truly. Every week when I add new videos to the site, I'll give you one or two of my personal favourites; the ones you'd be crazy to miss.

Today, after only seven weeks live, googleidol.com received its 1 Millionth visitor!!! Wow!

Thank you to all the fans and especially the performers for supporting Gidol, and I look forward to bringing you more and more enjoyment for a long time to come.

As the publicity for Gidol continues around the world, Spiegel TV Magazin in Germany are running a story on the site and particularly our involvement in the Original Gidol competition that is currently running for the UK band, The Motorettes.

If you haven't yet heard about the competition, check out Original Gidol now. The voting lines are currently open and the competition is very close between the three leading performances.

For those of you who have access to Spiegel TV Magazin on RTL, the show will be aired tonight (Sunday April 23) between 10:30 and 11:15pm.

After 2 months of manic Gidol fever, we've been hard at work developing the site and introducing new content to make your experience even more enjoyable. You will have seen Pop, Rock and Original Gidol grace your screens and this week we introduced two new sections of content; Kids and Gay. With the addition of these two new areas, we've increased the number of videos available and are reaching an even larger audience than we ever imagined.

All along, however, we've been making these changes without consulting you, our adoring fans. By the introduction of this blog, you will have a chance to leave us a comment, an idea and a suggestion. This is your chance to have your say and through this blog you will be heard.
