Take estatic vocals, jangly guitars, a driving bass, add
some crazy Hyper Hossa samples, crank it up and you've got
an on the edge mix of hardcore, funk, latin and reggae.
English and Spanish lyrics spice everything up with a sprinkling
of irony, and the end result is the unmistakable Face Invaders
Funcore Sound!

Biography
1997 was a milestone year. Face Invaders started a new
chapter in rock history. The first Funcore CD ("Big
Bugger") was released.
The second release, "Problemas en Acapulco" (Single),
made even more of an impact and was voted an instant winner
by a panel of judges for the magazine "Soundcheck".
"This lineup with their funcore has already been enjoying
a cult status in Munich for a long time. Our No. 1 German
music export to Mexico..."
The second LP "Happy Birthday" sold over 1400
copies in its first year. Bookers abroad started to take
notice.
2003 saw the release of the third funcore offering "Tiene
Hambre Senora":
"... What you hear on the new
LP from the crazy southgermans is an excellently well done
mix of styles from different genres: Molotov, a sprinkling
of Chilli Peppers, a touch of Supergroove, and truckloads
of rock'n'roll,
funk, reggae and metal. Take note of the biting production
which
easily keeps up with International Major Standards...."
(Rock Hard)
The enthusiasm of the crowd and the positive feedback from
bookers have led to many concerts since 2002 and numerous
other festivals and venues.
2004 Face Invaders topped all previous efforts with the
release of their first live album "Live".
"...Forget the normal expressions for fun, exuberance,
party. Just
srike them from your memory and think of one band - Face
Invaders..."
(SZ Youth Page)
"...Whoever creates such an amazing atmosphere belongs
on the winners
podium, and deserves to be right at the top..." (Süddeutsche
Zeitung)
